What is the college's policy about the use of anti-plagiarism services such as those offered by turnitin.com?

Dartmouth has no official policy about use of these services, although some faculty and students use turnitin.com in specific courses. Dartmouth's Academic Honor Principle places the highest value on student integrity. Through the Writing Program, the Student Center for Research, Writing, and Information Technology (RWiT), the College's "Sources" manual, and other resources, we work to help students become better writers so students understand the importance of citation in their work.
