What is the oldest book that Dartmouth owns?

The oldest printed book in the Dartmouth College Library collection is a “Catholicon,” a Latin dictionary by Giovanni Balbi and one of the first books to be printed. Housed in the Rauner Special Collections Library, the version of Catholicon in Dartmouth’s collection was printed in Strassburg, Germany on a printing press circa 1470.
