How effective is the administration?

President James Wright commissioned the consulting management group McKinsey & Company in 2005 to answer just this question. While McKinsey found that the Dartmouth administration is strong, it suggested changes to improve internal communication, streamline the hiring process, and build more opportunities for advancement. The President established working groups to address these issues and has recently adopted their recommendations. The changes are already underway.
