If a student has taken both the ACT and the SAT, which scores will Dartmouth consider? Is it in the student's favor to submit both the ACT and SAT scores, even if one score is considered higher than the other?

Students often submit results from both the ACT and the SAT 1, and there is no inherent advantage or disadvantage in sharing both sets of scores with the Admissions Committee. When reviewing a candidacy for which both scores have been submitted, the Admissions Office uses an equivalency table to determine which of the exam scores is higher and then uses this exam in its evaluation process.
