In 2007, Dartmouth enjoyed one of its most successful fund-raising years ever, receiving $159.1 million in gifts. Fifty one percent of Dartmouth alumni contributed to the Dartmouth College Fund (DCF), the College's annual fund-remaining steady from last year-raising a record $39.1 million in unrestricted gifts, including a record $2.5 million from the Parents and Grandparents Fund. In addition, 80 percent of the Class of 2007 contributed to the Senior Class Gift, the highest percentage among graduating seniors in history and seven percent beyond the previous participation record established by the Class of 2006.

1998 - 51% participation, $18 million raised
1999 - 48% participation, $20 million raised
2000 - 47% participation, $23 million raised

A 2006 undergraduate alumni survey showed that 83 percent believe that Dartmouth today is the same as, or better than, when they attended. Ninety-three percent say they had a positive Dartmouth experience.
