What is Dartmouth's undergraduate enrollment?

In the fall of 2006, undergraduate enrollment at Dartmouth was 4,085. Of those, 2,073 were women and 2,012 were men. 292 were African American, 544 were Asian American, 240 were Hispanic, 153 were Native American, and 228 were international students. 1,081 students made up the first-year class, 1,041 were in the sophomore class, 804 in the junior class, and 1,079 in the senior class.

It should be noted that, because of flexible enrollment under the Dartmouth Plan, juniors often elect to take the fall term away from the College. In the fall of 2006, the junior enrollment does not include 209 students who were on leave, 25 students at transfer institutions and 20 in exchange programs.
