What's the square footage of Dartmouth's campus buildings?

Dartmouth's on-campus buildings occupy around 4.5 million square feet of space. That includes almost 2 million square feet in academic and administrative buildings, 1.2 million square feet in residence halls, 725,000 square feet in the graduate and professional schools, 558,000 square feet in athletic facilities, and 99,000 square feet in service and maintenance facilities. If you add off-campus facilities, including those at the Hanover Inn, the Dartmouth Skiway, the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and in real estate holdings in downtown Hanover, the number rises to 5.8 million square feet.
