Is this site modeled after Cornell's "Dear Uncle Ezra," and if it isn't, does Dartmouth have any similar general advice column?

While we're big fans of "Dear Uncle Ezra," Ask Dartmouth isn't an advice column. It's an informational site that answers factual questions about the College and current issues on campus.

Beginning in 1979, there was the "Vox in the Box," a wooden box that sat outside Baker Library's Resource Reading Room, into which all manner and sort of questions were submitted. The "Vox," an anonymous member of the Library staff, dispensed answers and advice, posted on the bulletin board above the box. The "Vox in the Box" went silent in 1992. Other than occasional columns in student newspapers, we're not aware of any general advice columns or sites around the campus.
