How many times around the green equal one mile?

Roughly two and three-quarters laps around the Green comes to a mile. Start on the southeast corner of the Green (right across the street from the Hopkins Center) and walk counter-clockwise, in the same direction as vehicular traffic. On your third lap around the Green, stop at the Dartmouth Outing Club sign in front of Robinson Hall. You'll have covered about a mile. (And thanks for giving us an excuse to get out and walk around campus on a summer day.)
