How many times around Occom Pond equals one mile?

Ah, another chance to get out around the campus on a summer day. Once around should do it: Starting at the corner of Rope Ferry Road and Clement Road, and walking northeast up Rope Ferry, turn left onto Hilton Field Lane past Hanover Country Club and the Dartmouth Outing Club House and left to Occom Road. At the end of Occom Road (the southwest end of the pond) go left onto Clement Road and back to the corner of Rope Ferry. That route covers roughly one mile.
