What is the tenure of the members of Dartmouth's Board of Trustees?
Each Dartmouth trustee, however they are elected, serves an initial term of four years. They may then be re-elected by the Board for a further four-year term. The Governor of New Hampshire (an-ex officio member of the board) and the President of the College serve for as long as they hold their respective offices.
