Who chairs the board of trustees? Has this changed over the years?
Dartmouth’s Board of Trustees is chaired by Charles E. “Ed” Haldeman Jr., a 1970 graduate of Dartmouth and a member of the Board since 2004 and chair since June, 2007. Haldeman is president and chief executive officer of Putnam Investments. The leadership of the board is rotated regularly, with a new chair elected every three years.
